GINGER J.GRANT, PhD. (Mythology/Archetypal Psychology) is a specialist in "out of the box" thinking and organizational alignment and the only Canadian certified to teach the unique Stanford MBA course "Creativity in Business"
Ginger Grant lives and breathes mythology. After spending a couple of decades in middle management she had a mid-life crisis and fell in madly in love with a dead man, mythologist Joseph Campbell. She quit her job, cashed in her retirement savings and jumped into the mythic world of story. Fuelled by the work of Campbell and C.G. Jung, Ginger loves speaking on the links between relationship, recognition and meaning and how they relate to professional and personal life.
Ginger will engage you in looking at your own life through a mythic lens and if desired, how to change the ending of the story you are currently living. You will find the answer to the question: “What myth is living you?” Specializing in the Heroic Journey taken by ordinary people, she inspires and motivates others to identify and pursue their own unique passions.
Ginger is an engaging storyteller whose humour is infectious. Her mission is to help people and organizations connect to their inner creative resources and then implement this new knowledge into practical day-to-day reality. She considers mid-life crisis to be a wonderful opportunity to expand the parameters of life and encourages people to have as many as possible!
Ginger is the only Canadian certified to offer the Stanford Creativity in Business program. She runs a busy consulting practice and has recently published her first book: The Heroic Journey: Re-Visioning the Way You Work (available September 2005). Recommended highly by William Gibson, as providing a “lucid gateway to Joseph Campbell’s monomyth”, this book, according to David Miller, Professor Emeritus, Syracuse University, “grounds the world of business management and corporate organization in a mythological psychology. It demonstrates practically a way to give creativity and imagination to the real life of the workplace”. Ginger is uniquely placed to help far-sighted companies and public enterprises learn how to unleash their potential inner creativity and satisfy the increasing demands of customers for both meaning and experience.
Ginger is a highly sought after speaker and facilitator. Some of the more popular topics include:

Ginger, in visiting Anna's bio I noticed the ref to the Creativity course that used to be taught at Stanford and wondered if you know of Michael Ray's private program training people to lead the course out in the world. Michael is a dear friend and teaches it about once a year, whenever there is enough interest.
Best,
John
